Online information is scant but Open Road Folk Music are a couple based in Big Sur, with a nice line in soft edged folk music that is that rare thing, music that you and your mum will agree on.
There aren't any feathers being ruffled here, and that's just fine. The male vocal has a gentle tone and affability to it and the guitar playing is subtle, accomplished and voice elevating rather than distracting. What made this track in particular jump out at me though was the well worked and tastefully integrated ambient mists that float around the background which the voice and guitar slowly burn off with their warmth as the track progresses.
If you need some temple massaging folk to put your feet up to after a hard day then look no further.
