Saltbreaker, Yali Rivlin - Moment (Self Release)

Saltbreaker and Saxophonist Yali Rivlin have TSMM form and it doesn't look like that will change any time soon. Saltbreaker is the ambient instrumental project of John Hanson who is adept with an array of instruments and dab hand when it comes to digital workstations. Check out their Willow LP which was on repeat in the office.

Information is limited, but it's quite possible that being as this is a single track it came from the same sessions, I 'm certainly not holding it against them if it did. Hanson sets the tone with an electronic twinkle and you don't have to wait long for Rivlin's ethereal horn to enter the soundscape, adding some smooth jazz horn emotion to the shimmering ambience and undulating synth pads that chart unhurried courses, one folding into another to create a seamless sonic blanket that will warm the draughtiest of listening spaces.
